HUR BUM-WOOK

HUR BUM-WOOK was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1983. He graduated from KAFA (Korean Academy of Film Arts) in 2011. His debut feature film ON THE WHITE PLANET (2014) was screened at prominent film festivals throughout the world, and won the grand prize at the Holland Animation Film Festival 2015. PIG THAT SURVIVED FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE (2024) is his second animated feature officially screened at the 2024 Annecy International Animation Festival - Midnight Specials Section.
