Midnight Madness Section Drew Keen Attention Filling the 1,000-seat Theater

Project Wolf Hunting, invited to the Midnight Madness section of the 47th Toronto International Film Festival, received favorable reviews at the World Premier screening on September 16. The first official screening of the film Project Wolf Hunting took place at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, the main theater of the Toronto International Film Festival.

The movie company TCO said, "The audience, who filled a total of 1,071 seats up to the 3rd floor of the theater, followed the intense story of the film Project Wolf Hunting with high concentration and applause from time to time." 

Project Wolf Hunting is a crime action film directed by Kim Hongsun and starring Seo Inguk, Jang Dongyun, and Jeong Somin. A brutal rebellion begins inside a huge moving prison on the sea that transports criminals from the Pacific Ocean to Korea, and an extreme survival game is played that we have never seen before. 

In addition to the Toronto International Film Festival, Project Wolf Hunting has been invited to the Beyond Fest in the U.S., following the L'Étrange Festival in France, the Fantastic Fest in the U.S., and the SITGES International Fantastic Film Festival in Spain. Evrim Ersoy, the head programmer of the Beyond Fest, said, "Project Wolf Hunting is a combination of innovative and thrilling genres. It makes me feel like I'm on a thrilling ride,"  explaining the reason for the invitation. 

Project Wolf Hunting was pre-sold to 41 countries, including the United States, Japan, Spain, Thailand, and Russia. The film will be released on September 21 in Korea and on October 7 in North America.
