Melodrama Shoot Expected to last 2 Months

OH Ji-ho’s agency revealed on the 25th that he will next appear in the film Coffee Mate (translated title) alongside YOON Jin-seo. The film is a melodrama about two people who meet in a cafe.

Wielding the megaphone for the first time on Coffee Mate will be director LEE Hyun-ha, who previously made the short Origin (2010). LEE also took part in the crew for LEE Chang-dong’s Green Fish (1997) and worked on make-up and costumes for the 2003 horror film The Uninvited.

Most recently seen in the romantic comedy Love Clinic (2015) alongside KANG Ye-won, OH is a familiar face with numerous credits across both the big and small screen. Some of his silver screen starring roles include Sector 7 (2011) with HA Ji-won and The Grand Heist (2012), opposite CHA Tae-hyun. The film’s production schedule will have to work around OH’s involvement in the MBC drama My Little Baby, which is currently filming ahead of a March premiere date.

Veteran actress YOON has been active since the early naughts and in recent years has amassed credits on films such as Gyeong-ju (2014), with PARK Hae-il and SHIN Min-a, Santa Barbara (2014) and Heartbreak Hotel (2015), which filmed in California and Nevada.

Production for Coffee Mate is expected to get underway soon and last approximately two months.
