Marks Comeback Two Years after SECRETLY GREATLY

Actor KIM Soo-hyun’s management company Keyeast announced that the young actor is coming back to the silver screen following a two-year absence since Secretly Greatly. His next project, titled Real (working title), will be a noir thriller. KIM has signed on to play a character named JANG Tae-young who is known to work as a professional in the dark underworld of the city, taking on commissioned assignments. But when a reporter shows up in the picture, things start to get out of hand. KIM’s character JANG, who is blinded by becoming successful, has his eyes set on constructing a casino hotel to control the city.

After the huge success of the TV series My Love From the Star, KIM has become a leading actor of the Korean wave in Asia. With his recent return to the small screen with The Producer, which will start airing in May, this is welcome news for his fans. Previously, KIM starred in The Thieves (2012) and Secretly Greatly (2013), and could be seen briefly as a cameo in Miss Granny last year.

Real will be directed by LEE Jeong-sub who produced or wrote several notable works such as Romantic Island (2008) and Lost in Love (2006). The project will begin shooting this October and is scheduled to be released late next year.
