Changing Game to Work Behind the Scenes

LEE Ji-ah, known for Athena: The Movie (2011) and her roles in TV dramas such as The Legend (2007), has set foot on the other side of production. She is scheduled to write scenarios on three projects in partnership with Maybach Film Production (MFP) in the US. The first of which, Conscious Perception (W/T), is a mystery thriller about people who struggle for love at the cost of their memories and dreams. Shooting will begin in early June and the aim is to release in early 2016. LEE will depart for America soon in preparation for the project.

MFP is a production company focusing on indie films and has four projects under its banner including Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011), Starlet (2012), Night Moves and Mother of George.

The project will cost approximately USD 10 million according to speculation. LEE has had a complicated personal life that has threatened her acting career, but has found her way back on track with recent TV drama series including The Woman Who Married Three Times. Her role as a screenwriter will be an interesting venture for her as well as for her fans.
