Other big winners in Busan included the Indonesian A Lady Caddy Who Never Saw a Hole in One and SON Tae-gyum’s In the Summer, which won the Sonje Award for best shorts. Documentaries Streetside Jalanan, also from Indonesia, and JUNG Yoon-suk’s Non-Fiction Diary picked up the Mecenat Awards. Following ten days of film and events, the 18th Busan International Film Festival came to an end on Saturday, October 12th, with a closing ceremony and screening of closer The Dinner, a new indie from KIM Dong-hyun. Coming in at just shy of 220,000 admissions, attendance was in line with last year.
