Submissions for the Toronto Korean Film Festival Begin

To Be Held June 6-8 Under Theme ‘Ups and Downs of Korean Peninsula’
 
 
The Toronto Korean Film Festival, a culture event established by young Koreans in Canada to make Korean culture widely known, started collecting short films for the competition section. Any short film directed by Koreans with the length of 15 minutes or less or content about Korea will be accepted. Submissions may be made to the official e-mail address of the festival (tkff.info@gmail.com) by May 10th.
  
Meeting its second edition, the film festival will be held at Innis Town Hole of the University of Toronto from June 6th through 8th with the theme of ‘Ups and Downs of Korean Peninsula’. Korean feature films and short films as well as films directed by Koreans in Canada will screen. Last year, 12 features including KIM Jee-woon’s A Tale of Two Sisters and JANG Joon-hwan’s Save The Green Planet and Dear Pyongyang directed by YANG Yong-hi, a Korean in Japanese, were presented at the festival themed as ‘Taste Kimchi Cinema’.
