Eric GOLDBERG Gives a passionate lecture at KAFA
The Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA, Head: CHOI Equan), an affiliated organization of the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), invited Walt Disney’s animation master Eric GOLDBERG to hold a masterclass. People interested in animation attended and enjoyed the master class that took place at KAFA on November 12th.
KAFA, as the cradle of human resource for the Korean film industry, has invited famous domestic and foreign cineastes every year. GOLDBERG from Walt Disney was invited as this year's guest and gave a lecture on animation directing during the masterclass. GOLDBERG is widely known as the director of Pocahontas (1995) and Fantasia 2000 (1999). While he temporarily left Walt Disney and directed Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003) for Warner Bros.
During the masterclass, he showed clips from animations he directed for Walt Disney and gave a detailed lecture on his production process. Students of KAFA were especially interested in the class when they had a chance to show their own work and receive comments from GOLDBERG.
