The city of the near future, the pianist Tae-yup uses a ‘muter’ that enables him to hear the sound selectively. One day, he and his daughter, Bo-ram head for the quiet beach escaping from the noise. He still hears the noise and his temper makes Bo-ram disappear. In search for Bo-ram, Tae-yup adjusts the frequency of the ‘muter’ to Bo-ram.
