JOOHEE is a professor teaching feminism at a reknowned college in Seoul. While her husband DONGHYUK is on leave from work and using most of his time at bars, she feels that her seemingly perfect marriage is falling apart. Living in the shadows of his wife, Donghyuk encounters YEONMI while at a bar with friends. Enamored by her youth and beauty, he gradually steps into risky grounds. YEONMI works at a bar which is also a brothel behind the doors. She works to provide for herself with no family ties apart from her stepbrother who is always tormenting her for money. After her first encounter with Donghyuk starts becoming something more, events take unexpected turns. Aware of Donhyuks affair, Joohee carefully orchestrates her plot to charge him with adultery which is punishable in Korea, at the time.
