Adam is a child who has no smile as he has no toes. One day an ugly wingless angel Appears to Adam and gives him a plant that takes nourishment from laughter. To raise the plant, he becomes a clown and collects laughter from everyone. The plant grows up in the shape of a wing which somehow disappoints Adam. Eve also leads him astray, and and Adam starts having doubts about God’s promise. Just then, the Angel appears and bestows God’s blessing.
